Organization & Executive Board![]() Kimberly Martin-BoydINTERNATIONAL PRESIDENTKimberly Martin-Boyd (Normal, Illinois) has been serving Delta Omicron as the International President since July of 2015 and previously served as the National First Vice President from 2012-2015, the Delta Province President from 2003-2012, Alpha Central Province President from 2000-2003, and formerly the Epsilon Beta (Eureka College) and Omicron Omega (Illinois State University) Chapter Advisor. She has attended all conferences since 2000 and served as Conference Co-Chair at both the 2006 and 2012 Triennial Conference and at the 2009 Centennial Conference of Delta Omicron. Kimberly holds three degrees from Illinois State University: a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an instrumental emphasis, a Masters in Music Education with a Jazz/String Pedagogy emphasis, and a second Masters degree in Educational Administration. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Teaching and Learning. At Illinois State she was an active member of Omicron Omega Chapter, serving as fundraising chair, treasurer and president. Her current affiliation is with the Bloomington-Normal Zeta Eta Alumni Chapter. Kimberly serves as a middle school principal at Evans Jr. High in Bloomington, Illinois. Kimberly has taught orchestra in several schools in central Illinois, most recently at Normal West High School in Normal, Illinois. As a cellist, she performs regularly wiht her string quartet and at church, where she is the Director of Instrumental Music. Kimberly is the proud wife of Chad Boyd. They welcomed their first child, son Killian Michael Boyd in December 2004, and a second boy, Cohen Wyler Boyd, joined the family in June of 2008. Both boys share their mother’s love of music and currently sing in choir and play viola and violin, respectively. It is a joy to see their achievement, enjoyment, and relationship to music grow. Kimberly and her family live in Normal, Illinois. |
